PIN CHERRY – A northern, native, cherry specie reaching 15 to 30 feet in height, often multi-stemming and suckering. Prefers full sun. Typical white cherry flowers in spring followed by bright red fruit in late summer, taken by birds. Good wildlife and naturalizing plant. Native across Canada and the northern U.S. through the Rocky Mountains. Needs 2 plants to pollinate, but will cross pollinate with Nanking Cherry and Plum.
